If your dryer isn’t producing heat, try these troubleshooting steps:
- Check the Lint Trap and Exhaust Vent:
A clogged lint trap or vent can restrict airflow and cause the dryer to overheat or not heat at all. Carefully remove and clean out any lint buildup before restarting the drying cycle. - Check and Reset the Circuit Breaker:
Dryers often use two circuit breakers – one controls the drum motor, the other the heating element. If the heating breaker has tripped, reset it by switching it off and back on.
