We do not recommend disabling the safety lock unless there are no children in the home or location where the microwave is situated. If you do wish to disable it, follow these steps:
Danby microwaves that are 0.9 cu. ft. or larger with smoke sensor and safe plug. (MFM Models)
- Press 7 Press 9 Hold ‘Door Open’ button for 3 seconds The word ‘Uloc’ will appear on the display. Your microwave child safety lock is now disabled.
Danby microwaves that are 0.7 cu. ft. with the safe plug. (SMM Models) - Hold 0 for 2 seconds Press 7 Press 9
