If your dryer isn’t producing heat, try these troubleshooting steps:

1. Check the Lint Trap and Exhaust Vent:
   A clogged lint trap or vent can restrict airflow and cause the dryer to overheat or not heat at all. Carefully remove and clean out any lint buildup before restarting the drying cycle.
2. Check and Reset the Circuit Breaker:
   Dryers often use two circuit breakers – one controls the drum motor, the other the heating element. If the heating breaker has tripped, reset it by switching it off and back on.

If your dryer still isn’t heating after these checks, there may be an issue with the heating element, thermostat, or other internal components. In that case, we recommend contacting a professional technician.

If your dryer is making unusual noises, here are some common causes and how to address them:

1. Check for Loose Objects in the Drum:
   Sometimes coins, buttons, or other small items left in pockets can tumble around and create noise. Remove any foreign objects from inside the dryer drum.
2. Ensure the Dryer Is Level:
   An unlevel dryer can vibrate and make extra noise. Use a level to check, and adjust the levelling feet, if needed, to keep your dryer stable.
3. Inspect for Worn Belts or Bearings:
   Over time, belts, pulleys, or drum bearings can wear out and cause squeaking or thumping sounds. If you’re comfortable accessing these areas, check for visible wear or damage.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, it’s best to contact a professional technician. Persistent noise could indicate a more serious internal problem that requires expert attention.

If your washer isn’t spinning properly, here are some common causes and fixes: 

1. Check If the Washer Is Level: 
   An unlevel washing machine can prevent the spin cycle from working correctly. Use a level tool to check, and adjust the levelling feet as needed to make sure the machine sits flat and stable.
2. Avoid Overloading: 
   Too much laundry can unbalance the load and stop the washer from spinning. Redistribute clothes evenly inside the drum and avoid overfilling your washer. 

If your washing machine isn’t draining properly, try these troubleshooting steps: 

1. Inspect the Drain Hose:
   Check that the drain hose isn’t kinked, bent, or clogged. Any obstruction can prevent water from flowing out.
2. Flush the Drain Hose: 
   Detach the hose and flush it with water to clear any blockages inside.
3. Ensure the Washer Is Level: 
   An unlevel washing machine can cause drainage issues. Use a level tool and adjust the washer’s feet as needed to keep it balanced.  
4. Check the Drain Hose Position:
   Make sure the drain hose isn’t inserted too far into the standpipe, as this can cause siphoning and prevent proper draining.
